First part

2.
Despite being exhausted, the beautiful young lawyer couldn’t get any sleep. She knew she is going to have a tough day tomorrow. She knew the prosecutor will try every possible means to cross their plans somehow. She made up her mind for having tea. Slowly she walked accross her appartment, and felt the dust on the mirror, vase on the shelf, on candles; everywhere. Haven’t even had the time to clean up. She easily could have afforded a maid to do so, but why bother for an appartment rented only for a couple of months. Her dog, a white Canadian sheph, raised his head. It was always sleeping half awake, on alert to protect her.
- Shhh Vision. Quiet. Everything is fine.
She lit some candles and a scent. Watching her reflection by the low, dancing light, she has seen her own light brown hair and almond eyes. Her light Korean heritage in her eyes have granted her an exotic look. Remembering the last couple of days, she couldn’t help giving in to the flow of tears.

When the call came, it is over. Her partner brought the news to their client; she couldn’t do it. His partner comments echoed in her mind:
- If I were a smoker, even ten packs wouldn’t be enough right now.
They managed to reach the court house in 10minutes, was a though run to get there on time.

- Yes your honourable Judge, our client is on his way to the courtroom. Yes, of course he will be here on time. No, he is not intenending to flee. We are on constast phone feed with the convoy. Would you please allow us to wait for his arrival outside?

Seconds after her phone rang. Susan hardly remembers what Mez said. She smiled as she remembered that her partner would never respond if called Tom.
- No one. Not even my parents call me Tom. Well at least not since I was 20.

Now his new nickname, Mezinator. Minutes felt like hours, whilst waiting for the convoy to arrive. She got lost in her thoughts.

When she eventually looked up, saw the black SUVs. Her partner said:
- For Heaven’s Sake please don’t scare him to death any more than he already is. Try not to look like as if you had turned for up a funeral!
Light up your face with gladness/ Hide every trace of sadness They quickly made their way to the car, where their client was getting out from. Shouldn’t Bain the PR Rep be here? And as always, the fans are the priority. Oh, he looks miserable. Lets just get him into the courthouse as quick as possible so that he doesn’t have to face the flashlights of the world’s media... That's the time you must keep on trying Too many reporters and photographers. Condors, waiting for the fall of their prey. Still, he is so strong. Is it that his soul and mind has completely left his body, or is it his faith? Faith in God or in his defence team? Smile, even though it's breaking/ When there are clouds in the sky Finally, in the court room. The jury walks in. All rise. She gently touched her client’s shoulder. Smile, though your heart is aching He is clinging on to a paper tissue, but does he still have any more tears left? She doesn’t know, her vision was blindind by the wall of her own tears.
- We, the jury found the defendant in the above entiteld case NOT guilty.

She wakes up crying. The dog walked up to her and kissed. If you smile/ Through your fear and sorrow She remembered the client’s reaction, repeating "Thank you. Thank you to all.” – like a mantra.

And the short time they spent on the ranch afterwards. Michael looked awful, she felt her heart was breaking, but she could only hope he would be taken good care of. What a terrible loss it were that after all his fights he never being the same again. That would mean a victory for the prosecution. Susan breathed in the scent of her jasmin and black tea mix. Aura of Far –East filled the room, slowly relaxing her tensions. Sitting in lotus she felt calmer but was still crying. For a man she had hardly known. For million of fans – she hasn’t had the chance of meeting any. For the three kids, who could hardly be spared this painful experience. She remembered her chat with Paris, somewhere around early May. The little girl was only about seven, but mature beyod her age. She felt sorry for the young girl, but also wondered at her strength:
- You are also one of Daddy’s lawyer, are you? You are helping him, aren’t you?. What has he been charged with? And why?
- Yes, sweetie. I am a lawyer...And yes I do everything I can to help. And..Erm..No, unfortunately I can’t tell your more. You know, the lawyer’s oath to keep everything secret.

Thanks Lord, Michael, Mez and the Nanny has enterred the room. Luckily, ’cos noone would have believed her if this discussion goes on, not even the youngest child. Susan felt thought, she should not be the one revaling what is going on to the children. The least painful solution will be for all, when the father can sit down and explain this to his daughter.
- I hope my daughter didn’t cause you any trouble? – her client asked
- No. She is lovely.

And she was of course crying for her own self. Maybe Mez was right in worrying for her. He knew to much about his client, that he might not have wanted to share with a female companion. And they have brought him down. She tried to wipe him out of her thoughts for the time being and wished him happines and peace. You'll find that life is still worthwhile/ If you'll just Smile She had her last drink of the tea, blew the candles out and looked at the clock: 02:21. Light dream guarded by angels, came over her.

3.
The Lead Lawyer had a troubled night too. No wonder, having gone through this exhausting day. It has been in the air that it would end soon. They spent the morning waiting for the call, then manicly packing and getting ready when told that a verdict had been reached. He had to let the others in the office know. And call Jackson. Rushing to the court house – even thought he was now over 50, still fit.
- Yes, your Honourable Judge. My client has just left his estate and is on his way. Yes, he will arrive on time. Yes, he is coming straight here, he does not have the intent of fleeding. I am on mobile feed with his convoy. May we wait for his arrival outside?
He called the SUV.
- Trust me. It is all going to be fine.
The chauffeur continously signalling their progress on the road.
- We are on the m’way.
- Escort is front of us.
- Keep the faith, Michael! – said the lawyer at last before hanging up.

He spent a minute to bethought of his client’s magical carrier. Swift and sudden fall from grace / Sunny days seem far away The convoy pulled in. He rushed there with his partner. One could cut the tension, everyone is alerted. One the bodyguards dragged him away and started wishpering:
- Look, if it is not a good one...we will rush in there and...
- And WHAT? Forget it whatever you had in mind, right now. Was it his idea? - asked the lawyer in shock..
- Nope. Who would even dare to mention him the possibility of a guilty verdict?

Crowd of shameless photographers filled every inch of the building. Michael waited in line, then stepped through the metal detector. WTF? He wouldn’t even have the physical strength to carry a gun, let alone a soul to do so. It is a wonder that he is not collapsing down to the ground. When you're alone / And you're cold insideThey walk into the courtroom. Jury walks in. He hates this moment. How does it feel All rise Here abandoned in my fame / Armageddon of the brain
- We, the jury found the defendant in the above entiteld case NOT guilty.

He woke up stressed. Sitting up in bed he looked at the green numbers on the clock: 02:21 Thanks Heaven he no longer has to start the day at 3 am every day. His mind was filled with pictures of the past events. His client was out of this world, shaking and trembling, his helpers almost had to push his body out of courthouse. But he still had a minute of reality hitting, not to forget to say Thank you.
- Thank you. I thank you all – repeatedly. Like a mantra.
And of course his waving to the fans, never to be missed. Whatever happens. The lawyer will never forget the minute when he grabbed his client arm, not much of for him to know that he is right there besides him, but in fear of him collapsing. And the press saying he showed no emotion! What a BS, he was all tears..The lawyer felt his anger agains the manipulative press arose again. Time will heal everything. The hurt of his client, too. Happy days will drown the pain He thought of drifting back to sleep, but then felt the woman sleeping next to him, waking.
- Sorry, I did not want to wake you. - he whispered turning over to see her face.
- Ssss. Tell me, what is troubling you. It is the Jackson case, isn’t it? No regrets, I hope. - she asked
- No. Of course no regrets. Don’t even think about that...He is a good man, and innocent...but.. - He knew he still has not closed the case.. -I am just worried of him..You know, on what will happen. The past months were really really though for him..He is exhasted, both physically and emotinally..Very exhausted..I am not even sure he can recover from here..If not. If not..
- The world would loose out big time - she added
- and his fans. And his children.
They heart was beating to the same beat. She always understood him inside He took his time to wonder on her beauty. The light beige baby doll she was wearing emphasized the beautiful darkness of her dark silky skin. Her lips were rosy and soft, hair dark as the night. She was younger, in fact, much younger than him. He sometimes felt guilt for having asked her to stay with him, he might would need to let her go, but he couldn’t. No, he would go for a death penalty instead. She felt the tension and stress building up in her partner and nestled to him. This is not the right method of releasing stress and troubling thougths...but this woman...is just relighting his fire..and .. Ah, she wants to give it
- Look, I don’t want to use you or make use of you...but - that was his last try to avoid what he knew is going to follow...
- It is ain’t a favour or a loan...
Just open the door/ And you will see/ This passion burns/ Inside of me * Touch me there/ Make the move/ Cast the spell * Yeah/ She wants to give it * Dare me
