This short story is the fruit of Gitana’s extensive research and commitment to understand and look behind the scenes of the „Trial of the Century”. Her determination to consider nothing but the facts has led her to review thousand pages of court documents. I myself felt honoured to be given the chance of editing and converting Gitana’s well written, wonderful short story to a worldwide audience; even if the English the translation might not be fully capable to reflect all emotions conveyed in the original – all efforts were made.
